“Celebrating and recognising business success in Taunton Deane” Taunton Deane Business Awards 2019

On the 27th June we attended a fabulous evening at the Somerset County Cricket Ground for the Taunton Deane Business Awards where we were delighted to be announced winner of Best Employer 2019.

It was a privilege to be recognised for such an award and it was a wonderful process to go through.  Buff wouldn’t be what it is without the fantastic team we have and we feel very fortunate to work with such a great team of people.

Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards 2017

On Thursday 9th November numerous businesses joined together at Taunton County Cricket Club to celebrate the Bristol, Bath & Somerset Tourism Awards 2017.
After 6 months of assessment and judging by a panel of experts the winners were announced by Laura Rawlings from BBC Radio Bristol, who was joined on stage by Marcus Trescothick MBE.

The winners were  presented with individually crafted, hand inscribed awards by Will Shakspeare, from Shakspeare Glass in Langport.

Due to winning Silver in the Spa & Well-being category against two other fantastic Spa's; Thermae Bath Spa winning Bronze & Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa winning Gold, we are automatically assessed again to see if we can make the short list for our category in the South West Tourism Excellence Awards in February 2018.

2017 has been a fantastic year and we are delighted to have won four awards. Without our amazing, hard working team these awards wouldn't be achievable, we are so proud to share it with you all.

2017 Winner Best Day Spa & Winner Best Hair Salon (Somerset)

On 3rd July we were delighted to be presented with not just 1 but 2 Muddy Stilettos awards! Thank you to all our lovely clients who voted for us, it means so much to every one of the team.

We were presented with our awards at a champagne reception at The Castle Hotel, Taunton alongside other wonderful businesses showcasing the best that our county of Somerset has to offer.

2017 Winner Customer Excellence Award

We were delighted to win this award at The Taunton Deane Business Awards in June this year. We pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and were so pleased to be recognised by our peers across various industries.

The staff enjoyed a lovely evening at The County Cricket Ground before being presented with the award.

Professional Beauty Awards 2014 - Finalist Day Spa of the Year

In November 2013 we were pleased to announce that yet again we had been short listed as a finalist for the Day Spa of the Year category at the Professional Beauty Awards 2014.

To be recognised as one of the top six Day Spa's short listed for this award in the UK & Northern Ireland was an achievement in itself.

Unfortunately yet again we were pipped to the post and didn't get to bring the award home. We had a fantastic night celebrating none the less and we will continue to deliver the five star service that we are known for.

Professional Beauty Awards 2013 - Finalist Day Spa of the Year

In November 2012 we were pleased to announce that we had been short listed as a finalist for the 2013 Professional Beauty Awards in the Day Spa of The Year category.

This was an achievement in itself to be recognised as one of the top six Day Spa's in the UK & Northern Ireland.

Unfortunately on this occasion we didn't win and were unable to add another award to live alongside our first. We did however have a great night celebrating getting to the final and will enter the awards again later this year in the hope we make it to the final for 2014!

British Beauty & Spa Awards 2009/2010 Day Spa of the year Winner

When we submitted our application for the Best Day Spa in the UK, as voted by a panel of peers on behalf of the industry’s leading Beauty & Spa magazine, we resolved ourselves that the experience and feedback would assist us in our pursuit of excellence. We were delighted to be shortlisted but never imagined that we would win, especially in such esteemed company and on the first occasion that we had entered a competition.

When we decided to take some of the team to the presentation dinner in London, we thought that the night would be fun and that the experience would be good for all especially having worked so hard. As the penultimate award we waited for what seemed an eternity, we didn’t dare believe that we could rub shoulders with and beat such industry giants. We waited and waited with the tension growing and when our name was announced, well, it doesn’t take much imagination; tears, elation and the sudden realisation that we really were considered by industry leaders to be that good. To really understand what we mean you really have to experience Buff in the flesh!
